PowerHoist Operators
Rugged Raynor PowerHoist operators are available in a variety of motor, voltage and phase combinations for any commercial or industrial application. All our operators are available in one of the following options:
- Jackshaft - mounted to the wall either alongside or above a rolling or sectional door. Used primarily for rolling doors, Jackshaft operators are also used for sectional doors with vertical lift and lift clearance track.
- Trolley - mounted overhead and suspended from a ceiling. Used exclusively for sectional doors, trolley operators are suitable in both normal and low headroom conditions.
PowerHoist Optima
PowerHoist OPTIMA with gear-drive provides reliable and efficient operation. They are designed for larger doors and higher-cycle applications.
All PowerHoist OPTIMA Jackshaft and Trolley Operators feature:
- A continuous-duty, overload protected motor.
- High starting torque motor and worm-gear-in-oilbath reducer.
- Available in 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1-1/2 or 2 horsepower, 115/230 single phase or 208-230/460 volt three phase.
- The output shaft features heavy-duty, industrial ball bearings.
- Auxiliary connections for a variety of controls and reversing devices.
Jackshaft models also feature:
- An electrical interlocked manual chain hoist.
- Factory gear-matched to keep door speed within recommended limit.
PowerHoist Standard
Designed for medium- to high-cycle applications, the belt-drive PowerHoist STANDARD operator is ideal for normal- to large-size sectional doors.
All PowerHoist STANDARD Jackshaft and Trolley Operators feature:
- Heavy-duty NEMA-1 enclosures to protect electrical components.
- Electro-Mechanical brakes that prevent coasting (standard on all jackshaft and 3/4 HP trolley optional on 1/3 & 1/2 HP trolleys).
- Adjustable friction clutches to help protect the door and operator if door movement is obstructed.
- Emergency disconnect chain so the door can be manually operated.
- High starting torque motor.
PowerHoist Basic
Durable, reliable PowerHoist BASIC belt drive operators are ideal for operating sectional or rolling steel doors up to 14 feet high in light duty applications.
All PowerHoist BASIC Jackshaft and Trolley Operators feature:
- Rugged construction. Heavy-duty NEMA-1 steel enclosure protects electrical components.
- Quiet operation. Reinforced enclosure provides noise reduction.
- Protection against obstructions. Adjustable friction clutch and run timer help protect the door and operator if door movement is obstructed.
- Quick stopping power. All Jackshaft models feature a powerful Sure-Lock electromagnetic brake for quick stops (optional on trolley model).
- Convenient radio control connections. External inputs make it simple to connect radio controls.
- Emergency disconnect. For manual operation, if necessary because of a power outage.
