You can spray the wax directly on the door and then polish with a soft cloth or apply the wax to the cloth and then wipe down the door. It will help to keep your door looking as good as the day it was installed. </p><figure class="image image-style-block-align-right image_resized" style="width:50%;"><picture><source srcset="https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/nYwuOlgN3Wi2/images/80.webp 80w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/nYwuOlgN3Wi2/images/160.webp 160w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/nYwuOlgN3Wi2/images/240.webp 240w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/nYwuOlgN3Wi2/images/320.webp 320w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/nYwuOlgN3Wi2/images/400.webp 400w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/nYwuOlgN3Wi2/images/480.webp 480w" type="image/webp" sizes="(max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px"><img src="https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/nYwuOlgN3Wi2/images/480.jpeg"></picture></figure><p><span class="text-big">Dirty Caulk! </span></p><p>Caulk can attract gunk just like anything else in your home. There are several suggestions available on how to clean it up, but we’ve found that the best treatment is a paste of baking soda and water. Let it sit for a little while and then lightly scrub it off with a toothbrush and wet cloth. You can also use a light bleach solution mixed with water for stubborn stains. These will make your old caulk look like new again.</p><figure class="image"><picture><source srcset="https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/ZvuPnlfBCP_Y/images/184.webp 184w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/ZvuPnlfBCP_Y/images/364.webp 364w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/ZvuPnlfBCP_Y/images/544.webp 544w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/ZvuPnlfBCP_Y/images/724.webp 724w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/ZvuPnlfBCP_Y/images/904.webp 904w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/ZvuPnlfBCP_Y/images/1084.webp 1084w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/ZvuPnlfBCP_Y/images/1264.webp 1264w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/ZvuPnlfBCP_Y/images/1444.webp 1444w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/ZvuPnlfBCP_Y/images/1624.webp 1624w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/ZvuPnlfBCP_Y/images/1804.webp 1804w" type="image/webp" sizes="(max-width: 1804px) 100vw, 1804px"><img src="https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/ZvuPnlfBCP_Y/images/1804.jpeg"></picture></figure><p><span class="text-big">Uncooperative Storm Doors!</span></p><p>Is your storm door suddenly not latching on the inside? Most of those paddle latches have a tiny spring inside the handle to push the latch out and allow it to catch when closing. If you’re having a problem, it could be something as simple as that! Vinegar, plain water, Dawn dish soap, Windex. Using newspaper or paper towels or microfiber cloths. We’ve discovered that the biggest secret is actually the weather. If you try to clean your windows on a hot sunny day, the cleaner you’re using evaporates too fast to do its job. Instead, try washing your windows on cooler or cloudier days and you’ll find the most spotless shine. </p><figure class="image"><picture><source srcset="https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/XAx5xfSLYEGw/images/100.webp 100w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/XAx5xfSLYEGw/images/200.webp 200w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/XAx5xfSLYEGw/images/300.webp 300w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/XAx5xfSLYEGw/images/400.webp 400w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/XAx5xfSLYEGw/images/500.webp 500w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/XAx5xfSLYEGw/images/600.webp 600w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/XAx5xfSLYEGw/images/700.webp 700w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/XAx5xfSLYEGw/images/800.webp 800w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/XAx5xfSLYEGw/images/900.webp 900w,https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/XAx5xfSLYEGw/images/1000.webp 1000w" type="image/webp" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px"><img src="https://ckbox.cloud/Ckw3mceAdLD1zoSsqLDx/assets/XAx5xfSLYEGw/images/1000.jpeg"></picture></figure><p><span class="text-big">Garage Door Service!</span></p><p>The garage door is the largest moving object in your home and manufacturers recommend yearly maintenance to keep it operating smoothly. <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><small><span style="line-height: 107%;">The 1920s was a decade of artistic, social, cultural, and economic growth. After World War I ended, the U.S. normalized itself with the mass introduction of </span><span style="line-height: 107%; color: rgb(34, 34, 34); background: white;">automobiles, telephones, movies, radio, and electrical appliances in most homes. The era heralded in Women’s Right to Vote. The first movie with sound, <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">The Jazz Singer</i>, became a box office smash in 1927. There were milestones in aviation, seeing Charles Lindberg achieve the first solo transatlantic flight. The Chrysler Building was built in 1928 in the new Art Deco style and was then the tallest building of its time. The 1920s was both the Golden Age of Jazz and Radio.</span></small></span></span><span style="font-size:9.0pt;line-height:107%; font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif";mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#222222; background:white"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><small><span style="line-height: 107%; color: rgb(34, 34, 34); background: white;">With all these great things happening, it’s easy to get caught up in the nostalgia and forget that Prohibition was also active from January, 1920 to December, 1933. Like much of our history, even Prohibition has been romanticized with restaurants and bars shaping themselves as a callback to that era of gangsters and flappers. After all, who doesn’t love the idea of giving a password and being let into a speakeasy to steal a drink under the cover of the star-spangled night? If you’d like to feel that vibe when you come home, Provia has got you covered. </span></small></span></span><span style="font-size:9.0pt;line-height:107%;font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif";mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#222222;background: white"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><small><span style="line-height: 107%; color: rgb(34, 34, 34); background: white;">Feast your eyes on Provia’s Signet fiberglass door, styled after the infamous speakeasies of the Roaring 20s. The Knotty Alder fiberglass is complete with faux-knots and non-repeating wood grain. Hand-stained in a variety of colors, you can achieve anything from a bright red door to an old-fashioned wood tone. At ten years, Provia’s finish warranty is the best in the industry. </span></small></span></span><span style="font-size:9.0pt;line-height:107%;font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif";mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#222222;background: white"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><small><span style="line-height: 107%; color: rgb(34, 34, 34); background: white;">The Speakeasy-style door completes its grandiose look with embossed high-definition panel planks, hammered metal hinge straps and clavos, and a wrought-iron hatch in the middle. The speakeasy opening is available either with a solid iron door or a seeded glass panel that swings open to receive passwords. Structurally, the Signet door is superior to other fiberglass doors with its dovetailed top and bottom rails, ensuring unmatched strength and durability. All Provia’s products are Energy Star rated to keep your home insulated.</span></small></span></span><span style="font-size:9.0pt;line-height:107%;font-family: "Verdana","sans-serif";mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;color:#222222;background: white"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: larger;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><small><span style="line-height: 107%; color: rgb(34, 34, 34); background: white;">Although the speakeasy door is totally awesome, Provia’s Knotty Alder finish is available without the extravagant quirks of the Roaring 20s. You could still pay homage to our alluring and secretive past using the Speakeasy door as an entrance to a man-cave, she-shed, or entertainment area of your home. Or, you could usher in a new era all your own—it is the Year 2020 after all!</span><span style="line-height: 107%;"> </span></small></span></span><span style="font-size:9.0pt;line-height:107%;font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif""><o:p></o:p></span></p>
